The visuals are stunning, so good in fact that I would frame them as is without any modification.  But as an artist, they do compel creative exploration; I must have spent an hour playing with it.

Below is a quick rundown of the app. It opens in Russian but the language can be toggled to English.  When you type something in and enter it, a unique pixelated pyramid of sorts gets generated.  If you are feeling lazy, you can also select random rule to generate at random.

A Dialogue in Diptychs from Two Queer Artists

[NEW YORK, NY, September 2020] An experiment on all levels – art, writing, collaboration, and publication – Pointless Thorns {Ocean Poems} marks the first publication for Kintsugi Books, the first publication for artist Nate DeWaele, and a new kind of collaboration for poet/publisher, Dudgrick Bevins.

As we drove from the airport to Oxford; passing strip malls that look the same everywhere, I could've told you I was in Colorado.  

"Oh no!" I thought, "is culture disappearing everywhere?  What is the geographic cure and will that treatment be available when I have enough money to relocate?"

That poverty and fear may be a cultural attitude.

I collect, make and sell digital assets.  But I am also an artist that likes to scale in and out of physical and digital media. A medium that I am having lots of fun with lately the printful catalogue of everyday items that I can apply my prints to.  I’ve been doing posters, mugs and shirts and making fun things that give me joy and satisfaction to use.
